Remembering Rosie
Rosie was smart, creative, and full of laughter. She had a wonderful sense of humor and the kind of laugh you wanted to hear — contagious, full of joy, and impossible not to join in.
She loved fashion and makeup and dreamed of opening a boutique. She loved making things by hand, from embroidery and handbags to flower crowns.
She shared her creations through her Etsy shop and at farmers markets, where she sold her embroidered pieces, flower crowns, and jewelry. With every sale, she included a sweet little note and a treat. Flowers and sugar skulls were among the things that made her happy.
Her greatest love
Rosie’s family was at the heart of her life. She loved her husband, Danny, and her three children deeply: Aaliyah, her eldest daughter; Bella, her second daughter; and Eli, her youngest and only boy. A mom before anything else, she dedicated her life to caring for her children and sharing her love with her family.
She earned a business degree at Flagler College with her dream of opening a boutique in mind. Though she never opened the boutique she imagined, she found ways to share her creativity while keeping her children at the center of her life.
Rosie was kind to everyone. “Just be nice,” she would remind others, especially Danny. And she lived those words. There was something angelic about her kindness.
“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.”
The love we carry
A little moment. A story you still tell. Something about Rosie that stays with you.
